Coming into Baltimore, the Tampa Bay Rays were in the midst of an 11 game losing streak in which they had been outscored 61-23.

They were in the middle of a miserable seven game road trip in which they dropped four in New York and three in Boston.

They snapped that streak tonight against David Hernandez and the Orioles.

Nolan Reimold extended his hit streak to five straight with a single in the first inning. In his last 11 games, the rookie is hitting .366.

Melvin Mora had a 2 for 4 night. He’s also heated up as of late, hitting .348 over his last 14 games.

David Hernandez gets the loss, he’s now 4-8. The Orioles are 5-6 on the year against Tampa. They’re now 13-38 against teams in their division.
