A look at some of the current wagering options for the betting Baltimore fan. For entertainment purposes only, obviously.
Ravens (-6.5) vs. Bengals
Take the Bengals and the points. Not saying the Bengals win this one. Just saying that the Bengals historically play the Ravens well. The combo of AJ Green and Andy Dalton will pose match up problems for the secondary. It remains to be seen if the Ravens can establish a pass rush without T-Sizzle (or without an aggressive DC). It’s hard to imagine that the defense will keep the Bengals down.
Ravens vs. Bengals Over/Under (41 points)
OVER. The Ravens won’t dominate defensively. The Ravens will score some points as Flacco starts his campaign for his big contract.
Ravens Regular Season Win Total Over/Under (10 wins)
OVER. It’s going to be a tough schedule, but not tough enough to keep them out of the playoffs. The Ravens toughest road games include Pittsburgh, Houston and San Diego. Consider it fortunate that the Pats, Giants, Cowboys, Steelers, and Broncos have to play it B’more. The Ravens will win at least half those. That gives them a dumb game to lose and still get 11 victories.
Will the Ravens make the Playoffs (-190 yes/+155 no)
Yes. The Ravens will win the AFC North; however, they do not get the first round bye.
Joe Flacco Total Passing TDs in 2012 Over/under (22.5)
Yes. The Ravens win this year on the back of Flacco and a mid-tier defense. Flacco has everything to play well. He has a contract, he has doubters, he has responsibility, he has all his weapons, he has a good QB coach. Then again, he still has Cam Cameron as an OC.
