The formula for the Ravens is simple on Sunday, win and your in. However, Baltimore is on the road against a rival that has proven to be tricky against even the best teams in football, the Cleveland Browns.
For the Browns and head coach Eric Mangini, finishing the season against the Ravens and Steelers is exactly what he wanted.
“I think that’s a good system, and we have a chance to continue to make progress as a team,” he said according to Ed Lee of Ravens Insider. “And we can do it against the two top teams in the division, and they’re playoff-bound.”
For Cleveland, nothing would be sweeter than to hurt the Ravens chances of moving forward. This game is their Super Bowl. But I think that the Ravens will get it done and be playoff bound for the third straight season.
What do you think?
If Ray is right and they shut down Peyton, then the Ravens will win in a romp. That being said, Peyton is a big back which sometimes spells trouble for the Ravens' defense. They'll put 8 men in the box and look to make the Browns one dimensional and if they can make tackles – no given for this Ravens' defense – then they'll win the game going away.
