You’ve seen it during the game broadcasts and now you’ve even had a chance to hear it on the NFL Network’s Sound FX, the Ravens are a smack talking machine. After every play they seem to attempt to get in their opponent’s heads by throwing a few zingers their way.
Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas credited the Ravens for being one of the league’s best smack talking teams. “They talk a lot,” he told CantonRep.com
I liked hearing Ray Rice say to one of the 49ers players that he let’s the pads do the talking. Thomas said that isn’t the case for Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis who is notorious for talking throughout the game. “Ray Lewis does so much talking out there that there’s not much room for anybody else.”
It may be true, but the future Hall of Famer backs it up.
“Some of it is personal, but it’s funny,” he added.
