Baltimore Orioles third baseman and leadoff hitter Manny Machado was wearing batting gloves in his first at-bat tonight against the Seattle Mariners:

Machado flew out to right field for the O’s first out of the game and in his second AB, he ditched the gloves and went with a more old school approach — well, minus the rubber bracelet.
The result? A single to right field.
What should we expect for his third at-bat? Gloves? No gloves? One glove?!?!!? Guess we’ll have to stay tuned and find out.
Update: NO GLOVES!
