We’re just a few short weeks away from meaningful baseball being played by our Birds at Camden Yards. It always sneaks up on ya, doesn’t it?
At BSR, our goal is to provide must-read content for Orioles fans every weekday morning. We cover the overlooked or under-examined topics surrounding our favorite team. We’re not reporters, we’re fans. We don’t publish the news or game recaps — you can get that anywhere. We’re okay with being biased and having outlandish opinions, we just support them with statistics and facts.
If that sounds like it’s up your alley, come join our team!
We are welcoming new writers this season to join our talented collection of voices. This is an unpaid position, but we do have a lot to offer in return for your time. For starters, you’ll join a respected staff of contributors, be a part of a passionate group of Orioles fans, and have the opportunity for your work to be edited by our team. Over the years, our writers have become credentialed at the Major League and Minor League levels. BSR contributors have had the opportunity to interview players, managers, coaches, broadcasters, writers, and analysts. Their work has been featured on local radio, print, and television. We have seen members of our team move on to work on local and national platforms and become guest contributors to other publications.
What We Ask:
- One written article every 10 days during the MLB season
- Participation in site-wide projects (i.e. polls, predictions, and podcasts)
