Royals fans have spoken. Omar Infante has officially moved ahead of Jose Altuve at second base and Kansas City leads the American League All-Star voting at eight of nine positions.
Is the system flawed? Should this game determine home-field advantage in the World Series if the AL team is constructed of primarily members of the Royals?

Royals manager Ned Yost doesn’t see anything wrong with the current system. “Vote! The votes are the votes,” he told USA Today. If you don’t like it, go out there and vote. Our fans have gotten out and voted.
