Buck Showalter’s Orioles fell a game behind the Yankees in the AL East after New York defeated Pawtucket Boston, 10-2, and the Orioles fell 5-3 to the Rays.
After the game, the always calm Showalter told reporters he wasn’t watching the scoreboard. “They win?” he asked. “That’s a given. They’re playing home the rest of their games, so you know that’s a given. We’ll do what we can do.”
The Yankees matchup is far more favorable over the next two days than the Orioles. Although Tampa Bay was officially eliminated from postseason contention after the A’s beat the Rangers late last night.
Stop Whining.
Stop whining? Who is whining, you typical Massholes always so quick to be hypocritical. This is coming from the same fan base that stands behind the absurd statement that the O’s have been lucky all year.
Maybe if that team had a little “luck,” they could win a game or two.
