Watch out Ramon Hernandez and Gus Triandos. Here comes Caleb Joseph.

The Orioles catcher belted the first pitch he saw from Cardinals starter John Lackey on Saturday afternoon and set the team’s record for consecutive games with a home run by a catcher. That’s five in a row. For a quick, 14 second recap of those five dingers, let’s go to the GIF:

According to MASNSports.com’s Roch Kubatko, the Orioles club record is six straight games shared by Chris Davis (2012) and Reggie Jackson (1976). The 28-year-old stud rookie becomes the 15th catcher since 1914 to homer in five straight games.
