The Pro Football Hall of Fame just isn’t enough for Baltimore Ravens super fan Captain Dee-Fense. ESPN has accepted Captain D as a finalist in their Hall of Fans contest.
He finds himself among 10 other sports diehards who hope to be inducted in Bristol. Here’s the official information from an ESPN press release.
Beginning on Tuesday, August 21, ten fans will campaign via social media platforms to become one of three inaugural inductees into the Hall of Fans. The three fans with the most votes on Friday, August 31 will be inducted into the Hall of Fans during a September ceremony on ESPN’s Bristol, Conn-based campus. From Los Angeles to Baltimore and Birmingham to Vancouver, the ten finalists offered compelling, inspiring stories of extraordinary fandom. To vote, fans should visit TheHallofFans.com.
So vote Captain Dee-Fense into the Hall of Fans because after all, everyone wants to be inducted in Bristol, right?
