Cary Williams catches more crap from Baltimore Ravens fans than anyone on the roster. He’s seems to be the player that’s always blamed when something goes wrong on defense.
To much surprise, Cary Williams happens to currently lead all AFC cornerbacks in Pro Bowl fan voting with 141,660 votes. Although, it really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
Since losing Lardarius Webb and Jimmy Smith, Williams has filled in admirably. Did you know that the Ravens defense has allowed just nine passing touchdowns this season? That’s the fewest in the NFL.
Williams is tied for most interceptions in the AFC with four on the season.
His teammates Haloti Ngata, Ed Reed, Bernard Pollard, Vonta Leach and Jacoby Jones also lead their respective positions for Pro Bowl voting.
I can’t wait to watch them all in Hawaii — actually, that’s a lie — I never watch the Pro Bowl.
