I have zero pity for football franchises that fail to sell out home games. If your fans aren’t showing up then the NFL should move the team to a city where they will.
Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports that the San Diego Chargers are still 2,000 tickets short of selling out their Sunday Night game against the Baltimore Ravens. If they fail to do so the game will be blacked out locally.
The Chargers have won two straight and their playoff chances are on the line in this primetime nationally televised game. A wild card spot is still possible for the Chargers and their week 15 matchup against Baltimore is critical for their postseason chances.
Despite that, they still need to sell 2,000 tickets. Ridiculous.

No one is from San Diego so therefore no one who lives there is a Chargers Fan. Lets face it, no one is moving to Pittsburgh or Philly for better weather or a change of scenery.
Bummer that the game is not sold out. Phillip you are wrong many people are from here. Trust me when you grow up in SD you don’t move to anywhere else. The team has struggled this season. Nobody likes a loser. As for Zach saying my team should move to another city trust me that ain’t cool! That’s like saying you should move back to Wiesbaden, Germany.
Of course there are people from there, the loyalty is just not what it is anywhere else. People in Philly will bitch and moan all day long about the eagles but in the end they will still sell out every single game.
Thats becuase in Philly there isnt anything better to do with your life on a Sunday in December than to go to or watch the Eagles… in SD there are MANY things to do that could be more entertaining..

What is ridiculous is that the average price of a ticket to a Charger game is 83 freaking dollars. The NFL ownership is made up of a bunch of arrogant multi-billionaires who price their product beyond the means of average Americans, then turn around and punish those same people for not buying their overpriced tickets. It stinks.
San Diego sells out everygame on gameday the support is there. We’ve just struggled to close this season due to crappy play calling and no execution.
The game IS going to be televised here. They sold enough tickets. Ed you said $83. That is the price of the cheap seats I believe. The last game I went to I paid $130 for a seat that I could barely see anything. The stadium sucks! We need a new stadium. That is the reason the team might move to LA. LA has the billionaires to build the stadium. Nobody wants to sit in a stadium where you can’t see what is going on. The stadium is super oldskool. I would rather sit in a bar and be able to watch replays of the action and see every hit. Kory the Chargers struggled because the team has had soooo many injuries. Look what happens when they finally have their receivers and running backs healthy (for the first time all season). They out score the other two teams 75 – 28! RAVENS FANS I KNOW THEY WEREN’T PLAYING THE RAVENS! I know the Ravens are REALLY GOOD this season. I give props to the Ravens.
Kory and Jeff… What type of fan does San Diego have? Like in Florida there is an older age group down there…
Is San Diego impovrished or older folks or what? Not downing San Diego at all, I’m just wondering the dynamics…
BTW, you guys have got to get rid of Norv Turner… You can have John Harbaugh. Harbaugh is a clown coach who lucked into an established team which wins despite of him.
