If I was a professional athlete (and I’m about as far from being one as you could possible be), there’s now way I would be on Twitter. It’s hard enough as a fan to stomach some of the things that are tweeted about the Orioles, I can’t even imagine the replies the guys on the roster must get.
Last summer, while having the best season of his career, Chris Davis opted to step away from the online spotlight. Why? Probably because of stuff like this:
I feel like in a couple of years we will hear the words Chris Davis and steroids in the same sentence

Chris Davis? A prime example of a no name player becoming an all star with 37 HRs before the break. You can thank steroids for that.

After less than a year away from the Twitterverse, Davis is apparently making a triumphant return. At least according to the Orioles official Twitter feed:
He's backkk! Welcome Crush Davis back to the Twitterverse and follow him @CrushD19. #VoteOrange

All it took was a walkoff three-run dinger.
Welcome back, @CrushD19. And good luck!
