Ed Reed is back in Baltimore.  But not for the Ravens.

The future hall of fame safety is at Stevenson University this morning for his youth football camp.  The Ravens tweeted that there were about 75 kids in attendance at Reed’s camp.

Reeds teammate Bryan Hall and defensive coordinator Dean Peas were in attendance — likely trying to persuade Reed to show up to Ravens training camp.  “Ed is going to do what’s best I support him with whatever decision he makes,” Hall told Aaron Wilson.

Reed didn’t take any questions about his contract status or potential holdout.  He did tell the local media that his mind is nowhere near football.  That’s reassuring.

The good news is that Wilson reports that Reed is in good shape.  “I take care of myself.”
