Carson Palmer (OAK QB)- 2 solid games in a row. Not only has he proven to be a good backup, but he can be used as a starter based on the matchup. If you have Schaub on bye next week Palmer could be a decent play against MIN. He also has a game left against MIA and faces DET and KC during your fantasy playoffs. Both of those teams can be thrown on.
Andy Dalton (CIN QB)- He’s legit. He also beat PIT. Make him your backup. Trust him if you need him to step in and play. He is @BAL next week so I wouldn’t recommend him then.
John Skelton (ARI QB)- What is this guy’s deal? He follows up 222 and a TD with 315 and 3 TD’s?? Go ahead and pick him up incase this guy is a shocking out of nowhere superstar. You never know. Kolb will be back soon and I would assume that he would get the job back since he is being paid so much money, but if he struggles then they could let Skelton finish out the season. Stash him on your bench maybe?
Laurent Robinson (DAL WR)- He shouldn’t still be available. Last week I said to get him and start him. He responded with 73 yds and 2 TD’s. Miles Austin is out at least one more game so get him if he’s available and start him!!!
Denarius Moore (OAK WR)- There’s no doubt about it that he just peaked for the season with 123 yds and 2 TD’s. But that doesn’t mean he’s a fluke. Moore has now put together 2 good games in a row. He is catching at least 4 balls per game and seems to be Palmer’s favorite target. If your struggling at WR he may be a good start next week against MIN. He’s low risk high reward at this point. If your in a PPR he should be fantasy worthy no matter what next week.
Chad Ochocinco (NE WR)- Guess who’s back? We have an Ochocinco sighting! 2 catches for 65 yards this week. We all know how great Ocho was, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he had a late season resurgence. It’s unlikely but if your desperate at WR take a chance on him.
Greg Little (CLE WR)- He’s been heating up slowly. This week he caught 6 passes for 84 yds. Next week he faces JAC and it’s about time he’s rewarded with his 1st TD. If you need WR help next week and want a cheap TD then Little could be your guy. I don’t really like any of his matchups after than except against ARI in week 15. But you can’t trust him in your fantasy playoffs. So next week only then scratch him off your list.
Damian Williams (TEN WR)- TEN has a lot of WR options but Williams has put up good fantasy #s the last 3 weeks. 60 yds 2 weeks ago, a TD last week, and 107 yds and a TD this week. He has some very favorable matchups still ahead including CAR next week. He faces IND and JAC during the fantasy playoffs. If he could become consistent by then he could actually be a worth #3 WR. Play him with caution though, he’s a risky start.
Leonard Hankerson (WAS WR)- He’s a rookie, he had his first start, and he had 8 catches for 106 games. He was injured at the end of the game but isn’t expected to miss anymore time. I’m sure he will have a little more success this season as he automatically becomes their #1 WR, but he won’t be consistent.
Vincent Brown (SD WR)- If your league is extremely deep I would think about Brown. I can’t suggest that you actually start him because I don’t really trust him. He had 79 yds last week and 97 yds with a TD this week, but that was probably his peak. SD hasn’t been right the last few games and they will soon get right. That means Ryan Mathews will bounce back and start producing like he used to, Antonio Gates will catch a TD almost every game, and Vincent Jackson will eat up all the receptions. And then there’s the biggest factor of them all. Malcolm Floyd returns. But because Brown looked good for 2 straight weeks he is worth an add only in the deepest of leagues.
Kendall Hunter (SF RB)- Every single week I talk about how much I like Hunter. When he gets a chance to run he looks elite. You gotta remember that all these top RB’s once started out as backups to another elite RB. Ray Rice backed up McGahee until he broke out. Mccoy backed up Westbrook. Turner backed up Tomlinson. And now Hunter is backing up Gore. All of these guys exploded for big runs and took full advantage of every carry until it was finally their time. Hunter is a future elite superstar when the chance is finally his. The chance could be his next year if Gore signs somewhere else. SF will probably let Gore walk because they have Hunter backing him up. This is mainly information for those of you in keeper leagues. For now Hunter is a great guy to stash on the bench because Gore has a history of getting injured and not finishing seasons. Did I mention that Hunter outperformed Gore this week with 40 yds on only 6 rushes and a TD. Gore had 6 carries for 0 yards. Ouch.
Maurice Morris (DET RB)- It looks like DET is committed to giving him the carries while Best is out. Keiland Williams is better in my opinion, but as long as Morris gets the rushes he might as well be a backup RB for you.
Kregg Lumpkin (TB RB)– TB is the most frustrating fantasy team that there is. They are unpredictable and none of them are trustworthy. When they lose they get blown out a lot and early. Which means they abandon the run. Which mean LaGarrette Blount, who has a lot of talent, never gets the chance to get going. He never gets enough carries. So by the end of the game when they are being blown out they turn to Lumpkin. Lumpkin looks good after the reception, and rushes the ball. He might be who TB prefers here lately and I wouldn’t be shocked if he starts by the end of the year. Which isn’t very fair to Blount owners because Blount simply isn’t being used correctly by his team.
Lance Ball (DEN RB)- This is where I go crazy about this week’s Denver game….WTF!!!????? That game defied all fantasy logic. Tebow was actually a good fantasy start with only 2 completions. 6 different guys got rushes, and McGahee, who has looked great, was the worst of them all. One guy got 30 rushes. 30!!!! And it was not McGehee, it was not Moreno, it was not Tebow….it was Lance Ball. Who??? If a guy gets 30 rushes you might as well pick him up. Do I recommend starting him? Of course not! I wouldn’t recommend anything to do with Denver (other than Tebow.) I officially don’t trust any of them. So stash Ball on your bench and see if he gets 30 rushes again (he won’t…but once again DEN defies fantasy logic.)
Anthony Fasano (MIA TE)- Matt Moore likes to throw to him and Matt Moore is the QB. In 3 of the last 4 games Fasano either has a TD or at least 60 yds. That’s fantasy worthy. Next up is BUF who gives up offense.
Dallas Defense- They shut down a tough BUF offense and only allowed them to score 7 points. They also intercepted Fitzpatrick 3 times. Next week they play WAS. Grossman has it in his contract that he is allowed to throw 2 INT’s a game so bank on at least that.
Cleveland Defense- They only allowed 13 points against STL and intercepted Bradford once. Next week the play JAC who has an even worse offense than STL does. I’m sure the game will be low scoring and they will get multiple turnovers from the rookie QB Gabbert.

Upon your recommendation I picked up Kendall Hunter. Was just curious if you think by the end of the year he will prove to be a keeper for me in my league. It’s a 14 team PPR. We keep 5.
That completely depends on who you have. With only 5 keepers I would typically say no, but with a 14 team league there is a chance. It all depends on what Frank Gore does. If Gore goes down and Hunter breaks out then SF won’t resign Gore, and Hunter is definitely a keeper. If Gore stays healthy then it’s a toss up whether or not SF will bring him back. If he comes back then it certainly isn’t worth keeping Hunter if you only have 5 valuable spots. But again it depends on your team. If you have 5 guys who are clearly keepable then it wouldn’t matter. If you have a young struggling team then he might make it regardless. Let me know who else you have. The potential for him is there though.
I am out of out this year but I am looking to sure up my keepers before the trade deadline this Friday. I have been trying to trade Vick for either a RB or WR but have been having a terrible time. It seems no one really wants to touch him either that or my asking price has been to high. Figured I need that sure thing 2nd WR keeper or RB and I would then keep Schaub. If I don’t get rid of him though I will prob be stuck keeping both Vick and Schaub. Thanks for the advice.
