Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco showed some fire to the the officials on Sunday against the Saints. Flacco was giving the refs the business after he thought he was hit late by a Saints defender in the third quarter.
“I felt like I got hit late,” Flacco told the media after the game.
The Ravens QB appeared to have been hit in the face mask and stepped on in the play that he disputed. He was asked about showing fire on the field and responded saying, “it doesn’t happen to often, but I think when it happens that’s what I do.”
Flacco was asked about if fans would be excited to see the passion and he responded with a laugh saying, “yeah, probably.”
Joe's trademark is cool under fire. This last cheap-shot could have been a career ender so Joe's response was more than understandable. Joe plays best when he stays within himself.
