It didn’t take long for Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco to fire back at Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who said the Ravens wouldn’t win a Super Bowl in “his lifetime.” Flacco was a guest on Keith Mills’ show on WBAL and let loose on Woodley’s comments.

“[Woodley] obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about. At some level I don’t care [what Woodley says] because what does that really mean? But there is another level where it does kind of piss you off a little bit,” Flacco told Keith Mills and Pete Gilbert on WBAL, by way of BaltimoreRavens.com.

As Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com point outs (quote from PFT above) neither team needs any extra motivation and their week one matchup, greedy deal permitting, is already proving to be a marquee matchup.

Flacco did say that the Ravens have to come up a “little bigger” than they did against Pittsburgh last season. “I think we are going to have a lot more years in Baltimore where we’re going to have a good chance [to win the Super Bowl].
