Former Baltimore Ravens and St. Louis Rams center/guard, Jason Brown, spent seven seasons in the NFL, but decided to put it all behind him after 2011. What job could be better than pro football?

For Brown, the calling was farming — despite the fact that he had exactly zero experience on a tractor.

As CBSNews.com’s Steve Hartman points out, Brown once signed a five-year, $37 million deal.

"My agent told me, 'You're making the biggest mistake of your life,'" said Brown. "And I looked right back at him and I said, 'No I'm not. No I'm not.'"

Brown’s story is a great one. He credits YouTube for teaching him how to do his work and has set up the “First Fruits Farm“, which donates the fruit firsts of ever harvest to food pantries.

This year, he’s donating 100,000 pounds of sweet potatoes.
