At halftime of the Maryland-Boston College mens basketball game, Terps football head coach Ralph Friedgen expressed his disappointment in Maryland’s bowl game selection.

“We are disappointed with the process,” the Fridge told fans, according to quotes from Jeff Barker at Tracking The Terps. “I think our players have deserved a lot more support. In a way, they’ve disrespected our school by this process.”

Friedgen did tell fans to attend the Military Bowl against East Carolina as there is a false perception that Maryland fans don’t travel well. “We need to show up and show these people what our school represents. Because if we don’t, then the perception is true,” he said.
