I was impressed with Chris Davis‘s strength last season when he hit a broken bat home run, but last night against the Rays he took it to a whole new level. Joe Angel calls Davis “The Hulk” and after watching him snap his bat over his right knee, I think Joe might actually be on to something.

The anger came when Chris Davis struck out swinging in the bottom of the third and stranded Adam Jones on first base. Davis finished the day 0-for-2 with a pair of walks. The Rays pitchers made it clear that they weren’t going to be beat by “The Hulk.”
