It took the Boston Red Sox nearly four innings to record a hit against the Orioles on Wednesday night. Dustin Pedroia singled to deep right, but opted to test Nick Markakis‘ arm and came out on the losing end of that battle.
This awesome defense play comes just a day after Markakis made this ridiculous catch against an overly confident A.J. Pierzynski.
Down 3-0 with 2 outs, what is the team’s main objective there? GET RUNNERS ON BASE. BRING THE TYING RUN TO THE PLATE.
Nice job, Dustin. Way to run your team out of the inning.
Another example of your typical Boston player…dumbass!
