Ravens offensive guard Ben Grubbs sat out of Wednesday’s practice as he continues to rest a sore right toe that kept him off the field during week two. Grubbs’ toe is reportedly bruised with “strained ligaments.”
Out at the Ravens facility in Owings Mills on Wednesday Grubbs told reporters that he is continuing to make progressed, but is surprised by how slow his recovery seems to be going.
“It’s not going as fast as I’d like, but I am making improvements and that’s all I want to do,” Grubbs said according to BaltimoreRavens.com.
Grubbs says he’s day-to-day and will likely be a game time decision for the Ravens in St. Louis against the Rams. He joined Jimmy Smith, Lee Evans, Terrence Cody, Matt Birk and Cory Redding on the sideline with injuries on Wednesday.
