On this the 25th of May 2009, Baltimore Sports Report would like to extend to you our most heart felt Memorial Day Wishes. Sit back, relax, enjoy some adult beverages, a barbecue perhaps, and of course some Orioles‘ baseball.

Happy Memorial Day!

The O’s square off against the Blue Jays in a day game at Camden Yards today. It’s the first of the Bird’s week long home stand, three against Toronto and four against Detroit to wrap up May.

Baltimore, along with ever other Major League club, will be rocking the red memorial day hats this season. Last year they wore blue. Major League Baseball started wearing honorary hats last season and all of the proceeds for the replica hats go to the veteran’s organization Welcome Back Veterans, and at 37 bucks they should be going to charity!
