After posting under 200 net yards on offense against the Bengals on Sunday, John Harbaugh has vowed that the offense will turn it around in their Wild Card game in Kansas City.

“We’ll break out and play good offense,” the head coach said in his Monday press conference. “That’s a certainty.”

With all of their offensive weapons, the Ravens have failed to execute a powerful attack against most of their opponents this season. Baltimore’s offense ranks 22nd in yards per game behind some pitiful teams including the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I think we have really talented players and really talented coaches who are working hard to be really good. And, they won 12 games playing complimentary football. That’s the bottom line. ”

The often outspoken Derrick Mason stressed “making it work.” “We’ve got to make it work as an offensive unit,” the veteran said. “There’s no more excuses, because excuses are going to get you beat.”

Perhaps Harbaugh got Tony Lombardi’s message. We’ll find out at 1 PM on Sunday.
