It’s not okay to knock on a player’s door and ask for an autograph.
Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith tweeted on Friday night that a man with his four kids came to his house and asked for an autograph and a picture.

Smith got mixed responses from Ravens fans on twitter. Some said signing autographs is part of the athletes job, others agreed that it’s disrespectful to bother him at home. Personally, I don’t have a problem asking an athlete for a picture in a public place, but leave the guy alone when he’s in the comfort of his own home.
Although maybe the guy is bummed because he knows he can’t get close to Smith at Ravens training camp.
I agree. Get the autograph at a public place, not at the persons home.
