We’ll miss you Jarrett Johnson.
Former Ravens linebacker Jarrett Johnson signed with the San Diego (Super) Chargers on Wednesday and on his way out the door he took a final shot at Baltimore’s AFC North rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“I told everybody if I went to Pittsburgh, I would’ve had to throw up on my jersey every time we played,” Johnson told Brett Hollander at WBAL.
As Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com points out, the (Super) Chargers visit the Steelers at Heinz Field this season. I’m sure JJ’s comments will be revisited upon his arrival to the yellow towel waving capital of the world.
This is how I will always remember JJ.
Best of luck in San Diego. Never forget, the Steelers are a horrible, horrible organization.
I’m going to take you to task on this one.
While most of us hate the Steelers, they are a pretty darned good organization that has done pretty well and worked within a relatively moderate budget.
not necessarily true.
the steelers are one of the teams that are over the cap this year and skating the line the last bunch as well. they are one of the big money teams. they’ve never come in well under the cap. it just isn’t publicized.
Funny, but my lasting memory of JJ is his late hit out-of-bounds that awoke the sleep dog Stillers a couple a years ago in a night game that wound up costing the Ravens home field advantage in the playoffs. Got any video of that?
JJ was a decent player , he has lost a step just like Ray , I believe the line backers will hurt the Ravens more than the O-line,,,,,,,thanks again ozzie……………
JJ never had a step. He was an average player who was overhyped…Paul Krueger ring a bell?
