Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans was sidelined during Saturday’s practice and wore a protective boot on his left foot. Evans caught there passes for 6o yards and reached the end zone in the Ravens 34-31 preseason win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday.
As Edward Lee of Ravens Insider points out, Evans is the Ravens preseason leader in receiving yards with 128. He also appeared to be the winner in BSR’s most impressive acquisition during our weekend discussion.
Besides the bad news on Evans, the Ravens did get some good news with the return of center Matt Birk, and cornerback Chris Carr.
