Veteran fullback and former Raven Lorenzo Neal has been all over the news lately.  His named appeared in headlines most recently due to a DUI on the 4th of July, he claims that he wasn’t drunk.  Neal also appeared at Ray Rice’s football camp on Monday at Towson University where he addressed all sorts of issues surrounding the Ravens.

One of Neal’s quotes in the Sun that stuck out the most was about his former teammate Le’Ron McClain.

“Le’Ron has got to realize that I don’t know if he’ll ever be a great tailback. He can be good,” Neal said. “If he doesn’t get faster and doesn’t get more elusive, he’ll play another three years in the league and he’s done. If he beefs up, lifts weights and focuses on getting stronger, he can play eight, nine, 10 years at the fullback position.”

That didn’t sit to well with McClain, who tweeted that if Neal’s opinion mattered, he would have been out of Baltimore.

@jamisonhensley if his opinion matter I would of been out. Trust whoever doubts me.. Just watch me!

This seems to be another example of Le’Ron McClain’s short temper on the internet. He told Adam Schefter of ESPN in May that he “love exposing black dudes” in response to Schefter’s reporting on Plaxico Burresses release from prison.

We at BSR even had a twitter run-in with McClain when we wrote about how he may have smack talked his way out of Baltimore.
