It seems like there’s an over abundance of Twitter news today. Here’s the latest. Last night, the Ravens official Twitter page, 1WinningDrive, tweeted the following:
Unlike @LeRonMcClain33, newest #Raven @vleach44 is only interested in playing FB and blocking the way for @RayRice27
I have to admit, when it first came across my stream I couldn’t help but think that the tweet was a bit of a dig at Le’Ron McClain. Apparently, McClain agreed with me, “I put in work for the Ravens for 4 years!! Great 4 years. So don’t play me like that*,” McClain responded.
@1WinningDrive don’t use this to talk down on me* I put in work for the Ravens for 4 years!! Great 4 years. So don’t play me like that*
McClain has been very vocal this offseason and it’s my belief that he talked his way off John Harbaugh’s Ravens team in 2011. Do you think he was out of line for his response or was the headline slanted negatively towards him?
That was bush league for a professional organization to go out of their way to bash a former player on their team. You don’t want to burn bridges when you don’t have a player on your roster capable of being that bruising back that McClain is. I think he was underutilized and singled out by the coaching staff and this just shows that the organization just doesn’t understand how to be mature professionals.
Why even make a comment like that? There is no need to draw those kinds of comparisons, much less go out of your way to do so. Very childish, Ravens.
McClain is a low-class person. I have been in two yelling matches with him at games over NOTHING. He always gets into it with the fans and acts like a 5 year old ALL the time. Spitting in a dude’s face?? I’m glad the Ravens classed up the team and got rid of him.
Jim admits to engaging Le Ron in two yelling matches and then turns around and says McClain is low-class.
Priceless.
