Listen To Joe Angel Call The Final Out As The Orioles Win The AL East

The Orioles were in the win column on Tuesday night against the Blue Jays, but it was no ordinary victory. With the O’s 91st W, they won the American League East for the first time since 1997.

I was nine years old.

Seeing them celebrate at Camden Yards was amazing. Watching the highlights when I came home was incredible. Hearing Joe Angel’s final call — well, just listen to this and try not to get misty-eyed.
