Mark Reynolds sent a clear message to the Yankees on Sunday. The Baltimore Orioles are gunning for you.
Two more homers for the Orioles Gold Glove caliber first baseman helped the Birds secure their third series win in New York this season. Reynolds left the Bronx with four homers in three games.
“We’re a different team,” Reynolds explained reporters after the game according to MASNSports.com’s Roch Kubatko. “We’re not the same guys that were here last year or before. We’re playing with a lot of confidence and we’re just having fun.”
And Orioles fans are having a blast watching them baffle the Yankees and hear the “let’s go O’s” chants in New York.
“You look at a lot of young guys in here, they don’t even know they’re in a playoff race probably. Everyone in here is having fun and going out and playing hard.”
Reynolds is batting .298 with 10 homers and 28 RBI against the AL East this season.
Yea, but what about the run differential?!? This will never hold up next year. #sarcasm
