Tuesday night in Toronto, Mark Reynolds made history.
The Orioles first baseman/third baseman/designated hitter became the fastest player in baseball history to record 1,000 strikeouts according to a tweet from @theScoreTicker.
Reynolds is 28-years-young and has played in 747 career games.
Since his return from the DL, the Orioles slugger has struck out three times, but has gone 3-for-7 with a double, a walk and three RBI. I’ve been impressed with his approach at the plate, but I’m always accused of being an apologist for the guy.
Second fastest, if you count The Intimidator!
At least I know who my Daddy is.
And in the future, he’ll be the fastest to record 2000 K’s. There’s no stopping him!
Hey CurlyC, is your daddy named Spy?
My Daddy’s name is Moe!
You get what you pay for.
