In Matt Wieters‘ first game back from Tommy John surgery, the break totaling 181 games, the man once called the “Switch Hitting Jesus” contributed to a victory.
Wieters went 2-3 with two RBI. His double off the left field wall scored Chris Davis from first, the Orioles first run of the game. He also added a sacrifice fly.
Before the elbow injury, Matt Wieters was finally showing the offensive potential that was so highly touted as a young prospect, hopefully he can continue where he left off, and help bring a return of winning baseball in Baltimore in 2015.
