While the Ravens seem to be looking to keep offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, two of his players have spoken out about their limited roles this season. Wide Receiver Donte Stallworth and Full Back Le’Ron McClain voiced on twitter that they didn’t feel that they were given an opportunity to show their skills this year.
Stallworth wrote that he “just didn’t get the opportunity.”
#RavensFans I feel bad!! I wish I was able to do more for y’all this year, just didn’t get the opportunity. I apologize Baltimore
While McClain said that he wants to play for Baltimore again next season, but has to be “involved more.”
I want to come back and play for the ravens so bad. This is home to me, but I just want to be involved more. I feel i proved that I can do more that’s all..

Neither player is lying, McClain only had 28 carries for 85 yards all season and he’s a two time Pro Bowler. Stallworth registered just two catches all season and was used on a few end arounds.
If the Ravens do want to bring back Cam, and at least John Harbaugh does, they will likely lose their full back and fastest receiver next season.
Bye McClain…not a big loss, how much was he going to be used with better players like Rice and McGahee to run and catch the ball. Heck, McClain couldn't catch a cold, he has hands of stone, dropped at least two easy short td passes this past season.
It would have been nice to see Stallworth used more since all the other wideouts have pretty much the same skill set…Mason, Boldin and Housh are all pretty much the same player, just at different stages of their careers.
Stallworth's biggest catch all year was a 67-yarder. Against which team, you ask? Yep, Pittsburgh. Yet he doesn't even see the field in the divisional game at Heinz Field? That's nothing other than piss-poor coaching. He's our fastest guy on offense, yet the only time he usually sees the field is with that ridiculous, never-works end around/reverse. Every defensive coordinator knows it's coming, too. If you're not gonna throw him the ball, at least have him out there as a decoy. Maybe throw a lot of quick slants and perhaps get the safeties start to cheat up a bit. That would eventually get Stallworth with man-to-man coverage, and perhaps open for a long pass.
Of course, that would make too much sense, and an idiot like Cameron would never think of that. He has a total of what, 4 plays in the playbook?
