Orioles starter Miguel Gonzalez set a career high with ten strikeouts over seven innings Tuesday night against the Yankees.
Gonzo worked in and out of trouble early, racking up the strikeouts to get out of jams.
As the game progressed, Gonzalez settled in, even ending his final frame, the seventh, by striking out the side in order.
Gonzalez had every pitch working, and the Orioles needed it, to try and pick up the general underperformance of the pitching staff up to this point.
