The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver fiasco just took another unexpected turn.

Drew Bennett retired last night after just two days as a Raven.

You’ll recall that Bennett signed a one year deal with the team and worked out with them on Friday, but I guess he felt it wasn’t the right decision.

“After returning home from Baltimore this weekend, a previous knee injury flared up, making me realizing that I am unable to play another NFL season,” the eight year Wide Receiver said.

Hopefully Derrick Mason will make rash decisions like Bennett and decide to come out of retirement. He still hasn’t filed the paper work and is on the roster.

Head Coach John Harbaugh will address the media today at 3:00 PM.
