ESPN’s Buster Olney ranked the second half schedules of the top 24 teams in baseball.
With 36 of their final 74 games on the road and 38 against teams with a record over .500, the Orioles second half schedule is the third most difficult in baseball.
Quirks: The Orioles didn’t play well at the end of the first half, and they’ll have to live on the road to begin the second, with nine games away from Camden Yards against the Tigers, Yankees and Rays. By then, Orioles general manager Dan Duquette could have a pretty good idea whether he’ll be buying or selling leading up to the trade deadline.
The O’s are 17-27 on the road this season.
