Jimmy Paredes has been an absolute monster at the dish for the Orioles through the first month of the 2015 season. In Sunday’s finale against the Rays, Paredes belted a game-tying RBI double in the seventh inning. He’s slashing .353/.365/.667 over 52 plate appearances this year.
After taking two of three at the Trop, Adam Jones revealed Paredes’ nickname to the world: Babe Ruth.

Jones did so yesterday by revealing that the players call Paredes “Babe Ruth.” As he uttered the name, Snider stood up at his locker and bellowed “Babe Ruth!” That makes it official.
No pressure, Jimmy.
