Good news, O’s fans. The Baltimore Orioles announced to their season ticket holders that they will not be raising ticket prices for the upcoming 2013 season.
The Birds made the postseason for the first time in the last 15 years. I complained for most of last season about the poor attendance at Camden Yards. Fans finally started to fill the stadium later in August and September, but typically turnaround teams see the stadium full in the following season.
Which obviously makes sense.
Why should the Orioles raise ticket prices though? They’re making $500, $650 or $700 million from MASN, right?
