O’s trade Olson to Cubs for Pie

The Baltimore Orioles traded starting pitcher Garrett Olson to the Chicago Cubs for Outfielder Felix Pie. The trade included Orioles Single A pitcher Henry Williamson.

Pie, 24, was a top Cubs prospect who struggled in recent stints in the big leagues. Since he won’t be taking the mound we’re kind of wondering what the motivation for the trade was, as of now the Orioles rotation is looking pretty thin.
