What’s does the NFL poster boy think of seeing Joe Flacco banners hanging from Mile High Stadium?
Dave Logan of Broncos Radio 850 KOA asked Peyton Manning what he thought of the Ravens signage in Denver.
“On the side of Sports Authority Field at Mile High there’s a giant picture of you and a giant picture of somebody else in a Ravens uniform, I guess that’s Joe Flacco. Is that a bit crazy?”
Wait — What do you mean you “guess that’s Joe Flacco”? Maybe we could get Rahim Moore to verify that the 120 foot picture is in fact of the Super Bowl XLVII MVP. That dude might still be chasing after Jacoby Jones.
Anyway here’s how the guy with as many Super Bowl rings as Flacco answered:
“Yes it is. I’ve never heard of anything like that for a regular season game. Nobody has told the team that. There’s an explanation and I assume it has something to do with the Ravens not being able to play at home, which I don’t even understand how that didn’t happen. Obviously the Ravens and the Orioles don’t have a great relationship down there in Baltimore,” Manning said.
“It doesn’t seem like it makes a lot of sense that the Denver Broncos have to have an opposing player on their stadium.”
He just had to take that jab at the Orioles, didn’t he? Geez. That comment is as dumb as some of the stuff being tweeted to me about the schedule conflict.
Stick to football and commercials Manning. Leave the Orioles out of it.
I bet the Orioles and Ravens have a better relationship than the gay Manning brothers!
