Yesterday we pointed out to thousands of BSR readers that WTAE TV in Pittsburgh lost a bet to WBAL in Baltimore on the Ravens-Steelers game. The WTAE morning show was supposed to wear purple and only one of their three news anchors actually did. Sports anchor John Meyer had heavier things on his mind than paying up on the bet. He laughed about the “purple pinstripes” he supposedly had in his suit jacket.

Thank you for writing. I was laughing at the fact that you could barely see my purple pin stripes but I assure you, they were there. I don’t have any purple shirts or else I would have worn one.
