The Ravens appeared to be plagued by injuries after their 13-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but the early report looks good for the five players the club was concerned about. Dannell Ellerbe, Josh Wilson, Michael Oher, Haloti Ngata and Ed Reed were all injured in the game, but Baltimore appears optimistic about each player.

Ellerbe and Wilson left the game with shoulder stingers, but as Mike Duffy at BaltimoreRavens.com points out, they were the only two of the five that were officially listed as “out” during the game.

Oher and Ngata also left the game in the third quarter, but John Harbaugh told the media after the game that he thought both of them could have returned. Oher told Aaron Wilson that someone fell on his right leg, which he injured a few weeks ago, but that he’s optimistic he will play next week. “I should be good. Just get a bunch of treatment, and I should be alright.”

Ed Reed stayed in the game, but was banged up.  Reed sat out of practice on last Thursday with a neck injury.  Reed told Aaron Wilson that he injured his ribs during the Cinci game, but that he too expects to play against the Chiefs.

Kick returner David Reed sat out on Sunday, his status remains unknown.  John Harbaugh may be asked about it during his press conference on Monday afternoon.
