The Ravens newly acquired long snapper, Kevin Houser, joins the Baltimore in the midst of a civil law suit with his former teammates and coaches in the New Orleans Saints organization. Jamison Hensley reports that head coach Sean Payton is among those involved.

Kevin Houser, who was signed by the Ravens on Wednesday to replace the injured Morgan Cox, has been accused by former New Orleans Saints teammates and coaches that he led them to buy a combined $1.9 million in Louisiana state income-tax credits they never got in late 2008 and early 2009.

John Harbaugh told the media that he was looking for a veteran to fill Cox’s spot because guys that have been around the league are able to quickly pick up on new schemes.
