Analysis:  The Baltimore Ravens signed Stefan Rodgers as a free agent in May of 2009.  Rodgers spent all of 2009 on the Ravens practice squad.  In fact, Rodgers’ entire career has been spent entirely as a part of a practice squads or on injured reserve.  Rodgers was a tight end for most of his collegiate career and decided to give the offensive line a try as a senior.  He possess decent mobility, but is not regarded as a physical presence, nor is he enough of a technician to make up for his lack for ideal size/strength combo.

2010 Outlook:  Like they have in the past, injuries have slowed Rodgers in training camp this year.  Knee and ankle problems have limited Rodgers’ practice time in camp and it seems like he is unlikely to be more than training camp depth for the Ravens banged up offensive line.  Rodgers has little chance of making the Ravens 53-man roster, and is behind other potential practice squad lineman like Joe Reitz, Ramon Harewood and Devin Tyler.  At this point, I would be surprised to see Rodgers get much time in any of the pre-season games.
