Well, that didn’t take long.  This morning we reported that the Ravens were in “heated talks” with the Bills for a trade for wide receiver Lee Evans.  This afternoon, the Ravens made the Evans deal official.

Baltimore sends a fourth round draft pick to Buffalo for a much needed number two wide receiver in Lee Evans.  Evans will take over the duties of rookie Torrey Smith, who looked like he has in a little over his head during Thursday’s preseason game versus the Eagles.

This is a deal that will definitely help make the Ravens offense more dynamic.  Hopefully they can work on the offensive line to give Joe Flacco the pass protection he needs to hit his new target downfield.
