Ray Lewis is out for tonight’s Ravens-Chiefs game

Ravens veteran linebacker Ray Lewis will miss tonight’s preseason game against the Chiefs. Lewis was excused from the team to to visit a sick family member. According to a tweet from teammate Brendon Ayanbadejo, Lewis’ aunt is coping with an illness.

Jamison Hensley of The Sun reports that Lewis was only scheduled play one quarter in tonight’s game.
