After sweeping the Angels from Camden Yards, the Orioles look to continue Buck Showalter’s perfect season in a four game home set against the red hot A.L. Central leading Chicago White Sox.

The Sox have won 9 of their last 11 and have just edged the Minnesota Twins for the division lead.

Tonight: John Danks (11-8, 3.40 ERA) vs Brad Bergesen (3-9, 6.63 ERA)

Bergesen has been consistently inconsistent for Baltimore this season, but tonight marks his first start under Orioles new manager Buck Showalter. He is coming off one of his better starts this season against the Kansas City Royals in which he surrendered just two runs in seven innings pitched, unfortunately he walked away with a no decision in that contest.

His competitor is John Danks who is coming off a disappointing start in Chicago’s 6-2 loss to the A’s. Danks gave up five runs over 6.2 innings pitched and is looking to get back on track in what has been a successful month on the hill for him.

Saturday: Gavin Floyd (7-8, 3.54 ERA) vs Kevin Millwood (2-11, 6.05)

Maryland native Gavin Floyd returns to Baltimore in game two to face Orioles ace Kevin Millwood. Floyd has had a great deal of success against Oriole hitters throughout his career. Millwood looks to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Royals in which he surrendered five runs over 5.2 innings pitched

Sunday: Mark Buehrle (10-8, 3.25 ERA) vs Jeremy Guthrie (5-11, 4.21 ERA)

Baltimore’s most consistent starter has his work cut out for him in Sunday’s match up. Jeremy Guthrie, one of the three Oriole arms in the Birds’ sweep against the Angels, looks for his 5th start of 6.2 innings or more on the hill.
