I feel like I’ve seen far too much of First Take this week. We should just start a “Today in stupid things Skip Bayless says” section of BSR.
On Wednesday, Skip spread his love for Tim Tebow after a heroic come from behind victory against the worst team in football. After the lovefest, Skip told Stephen A. Smith that Tim Tebow is a better leader than Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.
It’s not even worth wasting characters to refute this point. Tebow hasn’t proven anything in the league. Flacco has taken his team to the playoffs three straight years.

Im a diehard Ravens fan, But I agree, Flacco is no leader.
skip bayless is totally irrelevent! come talk to me about tebow after hes won games against teams that have some wins and after he takes his team to the playoffs!!!
I’m both a Ravens fan and a Gators fan so I have watched a lot games with Flacco and Tebow at the helm. There is no comparison when it comes to leadership – Tebow is by far a better leader than Flacco. Flacco may have Tebow beat when it comes to mechanics, but he definitely falls short when looking at leadership.
Go Ravens! Go Tebow!
I do think Tebow is a better leader than Flacco. If you were to switch Tebow and Flacco in terms of teams, I think Tebow makes the playoffs those three years because of the awesome Ravens D.
Interesting how ESPN avoids the miserable performances of other QB’s –ALso interesting how ESPN showers ex con and animal abuser Mike Vick with constant praise and adulation but continues to berate, belittle and denigrate a good honest hardworking truly Christian athelete.
The guy won one game in the last two minutes of the game against a team that hasn’t won a game yet. Skip is nothing other than a bandwagon fan. He was probably praising Brian Kelly at the start of this season only to bail on him after Notre Dames recent struggles. Wait, why we even talking about this guy.
Man Skip has been a Tebow fan… Not a bandwagon fan. :/ For you to be on here shows that you’re somehow interested in Tebow. I you didn’t care for the guy then you wouldn’t be reading this article.
Tebow only won that game because the Miami coach stupidly went for two earlier in the game, and because the Dolphins are a lousy team. If Tebow is that great, he wouldn’t have stunk up the place for 55 minutes. He does have a different personality than Flacco, but let’s see what he does against better competition. It’s far too early for anyone to decide whether he can or cannot win consistently in this league.
Flacco has his faults, but if you put him behind New England’s lines, which are built to pass block, he’d dominate. Brady behind our lines, which are built like Swiss cheese when it comes to protecting QBs, he’d have similar difficulties to Flacco.
If this and if that…Still not going change that he won. there has been a lot of could of in the past but still if it happened then its done. there’s no way to change it.
Skip Bayless is a buffoon. He always wants to hear his self talk. I am not sure who the better leader is, but I would take Flacco over Tebow. Let’s see where the Broncos are at the end of the season, and the Ravens. Ravens will be in the playoffs, and the Broncos will be at home for the 6th consecutive year.
if i knew a guy who was going to call someone a buffoon, id tell him to check “his self” and his post first before sending it. just a thought… buffoon.
