Steve Smith was a non-factor in the Ravens’ 34-33 loss against the Chargers. Sr. made just one catch for two yards and was targeted four times by QB Joe Flacco.

After the game, Smith criticized his performance. Via CSNBaltimore.com’s Clifton Brown:

“I pretty much played terrible today. When I got an opportunity, I didn’t do anything. I didn’t do anything to help us offensively. I think I got a pass interference penalty, dropped two passes, and got a motion penalty. In a situation like that, they’re playing with 10 men. That falls directly on me.”

Smith Sr. was Flacco’s primary target in the first four weeks of the season. He made 25 receptions for 429 yards and three touchdowns. He has just two TDs over Baltimore’s last eight games.
